This course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of best practices in supporting students with SEND, including addressing the correlation between SEND and childhood trauma, utilising diverse materials to assess and enhance SEND provision through audits, and establishing a clear direction for developing inclusive learning environments tailored to better support SEND pupils.School Impact

• Review and reflect on best practice in the roles and responsibilities of senior leaders, SENCO, class teachers, and teaching assistants in securing the best possible outcomes for all SEND pupils.
• Have the opportunity to begin completing a SEND audit, reflecting on best practice and identifying your school’s strengths, as well as identifying next steps for SEND provision, including reviewing the use of finances allocated to SEND pupils.
