Elisabeth is an independent school consultant working with primary schools in the northwest, including working as an associate for ECM Education supporting school improvement, Headteacher appraisal, Early Years and Governor training.

Profile

She has over 40 years’ experience of teaching and leadership. Before joining ECM in 2015 she was a senior adviser in a local authority working with early years settings, schools, further and higher education, children’s centres, health professionals and a wide range of local and national early years’ organisations. She has extensive quality assurance experience having also led inspections in primary schools. Prior to working for the local authority, Elisabeth had been the headteacher of three successful schools, two of which were Church of England schools. She was also a tutor for NPQH and leading from the Middle, contributing to the training of future leaders. Elisabeth is currently Chair of Governors of a church primary school.

Particular areas of strength:
Early Years; school improvement, including reviews of school effectiveness and deep dives; making clear judgements about the quality of education; supporting schools in improving provision for pupils; and developing leadership across school, including robust self-evaluation, governance and headteacher appraisal.
