Prior to this Sarah was Deputy Headteacher at the same school after moving from a leadership position in a primary school in Wigan. Sarah's experience also includes working with, supporting and challenging teachers to develop best practice and support Liverpool and Chester Diocese delivering aspects of the Valuing All God’s Children agenda.

Woolston CE is a one form entry school which is oversubscribed annually. It currently has a longstanding ‘outstanding’ judgement, and a strong leadership team which strives to deliver a curriculum for all. Strengths of the school include a bespoke engaging curriculum, relationships with all stakeholders and an exceptional pastoral system which ensures all pupils learn resilience and empathy, preparing them for their educational journeys.
