TB05 Science Subject Leader Briefing Summer 2024

Overview

This is an opportunity for Subject Leaders to be updated on key messages and current documentation related to the National picture this is then followed by a subject knowledge focused input based on current National or local themes which can then be taken back to school.

School Impact

The agenda for the session will be finalised closer to the date allowing us to ensure key mesages and current documentation is included with National and local themes. This ensures that the content remains relevant and up-to-date.

By the conclusion of each session, you will achieve the following:

1. have a clear overview of current National developments and the implications for your subject leader role;

2. have secure subject knowledge around key National and local issues within your subject;

3. have a suggested ‘route map’ for CPD linked to the identified focus; and

4.completed a key task related to your subject leader role (i.e. Data analysis, action planning etc); and be well prepared for a middle leader interview.
