CLT07 Art – Session 1 - Being Inspection Ready - Progression of Knowledge and Skills
Overview
A 2-hour Time2Train session for Art subject leaders and senior leaders to develop a whole school approach to planning and delivering Art in your Primary school. This is the first of a series of 6 sessions which can be booked individually or as a package of 6 for £400.00.School Impact
We can help you put in place a robust Art curriculum, focusing on the progression of knowledge and skills, ensuring comprehensive coverage of media throughout the school. We will also prepare you for an Ofsted inspection Deep Dive in Art, examining the intent, implementation, and impact of art.Exemplar material is shared, and during the session, you will be coached and supported by an ECM adviser to complete an action plan document using ECM materials.
By the end of the session
• Subject leaders will have the opportunity to write or review their intent in Art.
• Subject leaders will have the opportunity to create their own progression of knowledge and skills document and use exemplar materials to support that.
• Subject leaders will be clear on what questions they should be able to answer in a Deep Dive Ofsted interview.
• Using a model school’s practice (case study), delegates will see how that school would answer all the key questions.
• Using a model school’s practice, delegates will be clear on the practice required to allow maximum success in the new inspection framework.
