EY10 Supporting a Smooth Transition from EYFS to Y1

Overview

This full-day session provides both Reception and Year 1 practitioners with the opportunity to plan for transition, taking into account the needs of their children. A wealth of approaches/programs will be explored to enable delegates to plan an appropriate transition plan.

School Impact

• To support practitioners in planning for effective transition procedures which support children’s social, emotional, and learning needs as they move from EYFS to Year 1.

• Understand the impact of Covid-19 on the whole school community and how to positively settle back into school.

• Have a bank of materials to support you in your planning and next steps.

Ideally, both Reception and Year 1 teachers would attend the same session, but this can also be done separately.
