SL02 Writing your School Impact/Development Plan (SIP/SDP) 2024-25 Demonstrating IMPACT in the Inspection Framework

Overview

At the end of this training, leaders will be ready to work with all staff and governors on the final stage of the SIP/ SDP. In addition, leaders will be ready to outline their monitoring calendar and efficient systems and arrangements for IMPACTFUL monitoring & evaluation.

School Impact

By the end of the course delegates will:

• Have the first draft of the key aspects of their School Impact/ Development Plan linked to the Inspection Framework (SIP/ SDP)- with 3 format options;

• Be confident that there is a clear thread between self-evaluation and strategic planning and be able to give succinct and clear account for this, including for plans associated with pupil ‘catch up’.

Leaders will establish:
• Sharply focused measurable ‘success criteria’ defining clarity of end points for the year;
• Key Priority Focus Areas for 2024-25 linked to the School Inspection Handbook headings.
